As part of its commitment to the community, Oceanex is pleased to sponsor scholarships at both the Marine Institute in Newfoundland and Rimouski in Quebec. The scholarships are awarded annually to Nautical Science and Marine Engineering students who have excelled in their studies and/or work term performance. Following the presentation of awards by Matthew Hynes at the Marine Institute recently, we were delighted to receive the following note from one of the recipients:
